Abstract

This publication is intended as an introduction and practical guide to the use and checking of piston pipettes by scientists, technicians and other laboratory workers. It covers single and multi-channel manual and automatic pipettes dispensing volumes ranging from 0.1 microlitre to 10 ml, but does not extend to medical syringes of the type used for giving injections.
