Abstract

This report sets out the conclusions of a study into the metrology requirements of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) that will be needed to meet future challenges within the National Measurement System (NMS). It forms part of the “New Directions” project, within Theme 5 of the current Software Support for Metrology programme.
The intention is that the reports should provide useful input to the process of formulating the next Software Support for Metrology (SSfM) programme, which will begin in April 2004.
