Abstract

This report presents the results of an Intercomparison Exercise in which ten components commonly found in indoor air or constructed building atmospheres were analysed by twenty-four participating institutions and the results of these were compared. The ten indoor air components were either gas or liquid loaded onto Tenax® sorbent tubes at NPL. Sets of these tubes were sent for analysis to each of the participants who reported the results that they observed. The results were displayed in terms of the relative difference compared to the assigned reference value. Z-scores were also calculated in order to indicate the performance of participants for each component.
