Abstract

This paper describes a new resistance bridge to provide improved traceability for resistance measurements at NPL in the range of 1 kO to 1 GO. The provision of ratio measurements by a cryogenic current comparator (CCC) rather than the traditional method using Hamon ration devices should improve the uncertainties for values up to 1 GO by an order of magnitude.
