Abstract
As electrochemists working within a national measurement institute, the authors provide a metrology-led perspective on best practice for the electrochemical characterisation of materials for electrochemical energy technologies. Such experiments, despite their ubiquity, often generate results of uncertain quality or with poor reproducibility.
