Abstract

This article presents an overview of accelerated life testing and ageing of unreinforced and fibre-reinforced plastic materials for long-term service in hostile environments. It considers various chemical environments, including weathering, and the synergistic effects of chemical agents, temperature, and mechanical stress on material properties and life expectancy.
