Abstract

This protocol describes a bespoke code designed to analyze data obtained using antimicrobial susceptibility assays and convert the data into minimum inhibitory concentrations. The protocol follows reference standards for testing the in vitro activity of antimicrobial agents, namely ISO 20776-1:20062020 and performance standards M02, M07 and M11 by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute. The software described in the protocol introduces an open-source method enabling automated data analysis for conventional micro dilution assays which can also be adapted for high-throughput screening.
