Abstract

The exciting area of graphene and related 2D materials continues to grow both academically and commercially, shown by the several thousand scientific publications and patents in this area every year. There are many industrial sectors that may be disrupted by these materials, such as energy storage, batteries and sensors with over one hundred companies worldwide now producing or using graphene.
