Abstract

Improvements to environmental radioactivity standards of OBT are described. Rather than 3H-thymidine, 3H-glucose is proposed as a standard material with demonstrated improvements in the stability when stored at room temperature. The process for standardising the material has also been improved via the application of the TDCR technique.
