Abstract
This NPL report describes the models and corrections required for high precision acoustic gas thermometry using argon gas as the thermometric fluid over the temperature range 90 K < T < 1500 K. Where corrections require a specific geometry and or resonator material, it is assumed that the measurements are performed using a quasi-spherical acoustic resonator made of copper tuned to the radial acoustic modes.
