The NPL absorbed dose primary standard for high energy photons has been established in all clinical beams produced by the Elekta Synergy linac which, for the purpose of therapy-level dosimetry has replaced the NPL research linac. This paper reports the calibration of reference standard ionisation chambers in terms of absorbed dose to graphite, Ng, and the conversion of this calibration to absorbed dose to water, Nw, for all seven x-ray qualities Q available from the Elekta machine. The quality-dependent correction, kQ, for ionisation chambers of type 2611 agrees with the results previously obtained in research linac beam qualities, and which are currently used in the calibration of secondary standards, to within 0.4%. The combined standard uncertainty of Nw is 0.49% and of kQ is 0.56%.
