Abstract

This report presents the results from a comparison exercise involving Y-90 performed in October 2009 to assess the measurement capability of Medical Physics Departments in the UK and Ireland. The report shows discrepancies of up to 20 % from the NPL certificated value and highlights issues with measuring Y-90 in different geometries.
