Abstract

We have considered the influence of the variation of temperature and standard potential between cells on the results of measurements mafe with a Harned Cell. Our calculations indicate that when all temperature and electrode bias effects are considered, the expanded uncertainty of p(aH Cl)0 may be as much as 40% larger than is estimated in the IUPAC.
