Abstract

This paper discusses the construction of a eutectic platinum-carbon fixed-point at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and its validation by comparison to a standard constructed by a PTB guest scientist at the National Metrology Institute of Japan, AIST (NMIJ).
