Abstract

This report aims to explain the implementation of methods for uncertainty evaluation, with an application to the measurement of brain perfusion using a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) simulation. This report is the main output of the activity between the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Gold Standard Phantoms (GSP) as part of the Innovate UK Analysis for Innovators (A4I) project to create a traceable calibration for an MRI perfusion measurement. The project is a collaboration between GSP, NPL and the National Engineering Laboratory (NEL). Further details can be found on GSP¿s web site.
