Abstract

Recent developments in the ability to measure nanoscale radiation effects in body tissue, and in the understanding of cell biology, are likely to lead to proposals for new ways of measuring radiation risk. There may be a step change in dosimetry concepts and techniques. This report considers consider how these issues will affect the facilities and services that standards laboratories, including NPL, will need to provide for neutron dosimetry in the long term.
