Abstract

This paper presents the results of measurements made in the GTEM 1750 of the field uniformity and cross polar performance when excited at the input port to the GTEM and also when excited by a doublle-ridged lens horn inside the device. The results show that an improvement in field uniformity and cross polar performance can be obtained by this method, and that the power required to generate the fields is also reduced
