Abstract

A tissue-equivalent liquid has been developed that yields permittivity and conductivity values within +/-10% of the IEEE 1528, IEC62209 and FCC OET65-C target 'head' values betweem 850 MHz and 2.5 GHz. The formulation of the new tissue-equivalent liquid is presented alongside measurements of the dielectric properties, thermal properties and density.
