Abstract

A detailed description is given of the conventions used at NPL when deriving and quoting thermal neutron fluence standards. Values are given for the parameters involved in the analysis and their uncertainties. The way in which dose equivalent quantities are derived from these fluences is explained and fluence to dose equivalent conversion coefficients are tabulated.
