Abstract

Thermal expansion, usually expressed as the coefficient of thermal expansion is an important thermophysical property and there is a need to obtain highly reliable values. The aim of this cross-validation was to validate and compare a newly acquired mechanical dilatometer (Linseis L75VS) to existing mechanical dilatometers and a thermomechanical analyser.
