Abstract

This paper presents the analysis method proposed for workpackage 1 of the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) project 'Implementing the new kKelvin (InK-WP1)'. In this workpackage, nine participating national measurement institutes will measure the thermodynamic temperature of the melting transition of Re-C, Pt-C and Co-C eutectic high temperature fixed-points and of the freezing transition of the Cu fixed-point. This paper describes how the different measurement results will be combined to obtain a single thermodynamic temperature for each fixed-point. It also discusses the key sources of correction and uncertainty.
